That's right folks.
Have you ever thought to yourself, "man, I'd love me a pair of these bad boys." Or maybe, "geeze, I love the way these shoes turned out. I want to buy a pair." Well now is the perfect time.
I'll be frank, I'm doing this because I need American dollars back home and I don't want to go through all the hassle of wiring money while simultaneously exchanging it if I can avoid it (expensive, time consuming, etc). So, I figured the best way to raise some quick cash would be to have a
$100 shoe commission sale!
That's right. For only $100, you could get yourself a pair of completely wearable, 100% original shoes, customized by hand by me. This price will include shipping - WHICH IS AN AMAZING DEAL. I don't know if you've ever sent anything to Japan, but it's expensive. So, I'm including shipping in this price, although I will definitely be sending it via the slowest boat-mail the JPS has to offer.
The other factor that is slightly different is the layout of the shoe. Previous shoes were done on canvas shoes found at payless, but I don't have payless's here. I do, however, have access to a very decently produced canvas shoe from Khama Home Center, which is like, the Target of my little town here in Takaoka. They are very sturdy and have a good feel to them. They also accept the color well and - wait for it - I have found a way to successfully waterproof them. For those who want a look at the new layout, they look like this: img846.imageshack.us/i/dscn064…
So, to recap. $100 will get you:
-A pair of shoes. An awesome pair of shoes (awesomeness level depends partly on your own imagination).
-A waterproof pair of shoes that can be worn in any amount of rain.
-Shipping. Seriously, even small packages can run $40 by airmail.
-Bragging rights over all your friends who don't have your awesome shoes.
Hurry up! What are you doing still reading? Send me a note, comment here, or e-mail me at ninjkabat at yahoo dot com to secure a spot! There's only 3 spots open! Go. Email. Now.
And, as a last little P.S. I just want to be upfront with the payment policy. As is customary, I will require half of the fee upfront, and half upon completion. Also, as is standard, I'll need to be paid via paypal, but that should not be a problem for anyone. Ever. It's fuckin' 2011. Any e-mails bitching about this policy will find themselves on this lovely little website.

The Aquabats Super Show
Hey everyone,
I made a short little promo animation for The Aquabats Super Show.
animation on Newgrounds
animation on dA
Get in there and vote high on the Newgrounds page. If it gets a high score, maybe it'll spread the word a little bit more.
See if you can spot a couple cameos that I put in there.
If you don't know / aren't excited out of your mind about The Aquabats Super Show, you need to google that mess, get the sneak peak on iTunes, and then watch it at 11am EST / 8am PST on The Hub. Don't know what channel The Hub is on at your house? Find out here.
Holy shit, an internet!
I haven't been on the internet as much recently. In a related note, I haven't really done much art recently either. Most of that can be blamed on the N-JLPT which I took last Sunday. I had a lot of training and a lot of studying to do. I'm not exactly sure if I passed or not, but at least I didn't die, which was also an equally likely possibility.
But the point is: it's time for some mother-fuckin' art! And general internetting (now that it's getting cold and I don't want to go outside). I still have a little cleaning to get done for my family's visit over New Year's, and the first piece of art I'm going to be doing is a Christmas pre
Earthquake
Yeah, I'm fine. I'm on the wrong side of the island for anything to really happen.
So, don't worry. Worry about the people on the East coast. The tsunamis beat the shit out of them.
PEACE OUT.
Lunayoshi made me do it.

Be one of the first 10 people commenting on this journal entry, and I will add you to the Featured List!
For each of the 10 first people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and the three deviations I like most from his/her gallery on the list.
If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing the list with 9 other people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.
So I guess she technically didn't make me do it, but it is because of her that I have to do it now.
