Secrets

This is another drawing that came from my few evenings of not having much to do. Unlike most of my marker drawings, though, I outlined him not with a micron, but with a black prismacolor. I was worried about bleed when I was coloring the orange and purple, but it didn't, which is nice. It gave me the bold outline I was looking for.

So this character. Yeah. Remember him. I've been working on him since the summer, and he'll eventually be very important. But for now, his name, purpose, and meaning are all a secret - which is quite fitting. You may see him around in some other drawings I do of him, but all you have to do now is remember him.

Secrets are quite a little game, aren't they?

I like how the Tim-Burton-esque stripes worked out. That man and stripes; he knows how to use them.
